.NET Developer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our Weigh In Motion (WIM) team developing the KiTraffic Digital product, the world’s most advanced digital WIM platform powered by cutting-edge sensors and precision engineering to deliver accurate real-time weight measurements of vehicles moving at any speed.

Based on various product lifecycle phases following responsibilities will arise:

• Determining the technical environments
• Working with the business roles to formulate and communicate solution options
• Working with the business roles and other developers to evaluate technical options and, at a high level, decide the best way to fulfil the business needs
• Provide estimations for effort and identify risks detailed enough for release planning
• Creation of software architecture and software design and align it with system architecture
• Identifying and owning architectural and other technically based risk
• Advising on the achievability of non-functional requirements
• Provide effort estimation of backlog items and make sure these estimations are up-to date and reliable
• Programming and testing backlog items according to Definition of Done
• Bug fixing of an existing functionality
• Ensuring continuous systems integration
• Works collaboratively with other technical roles on development infrastructure and automation
• Participates in quality assurance work to ensure products are fit for purpose
• Ensuring that technical debts are visible and prioritized appropriately in Product Backlog in collaboration with Product Owner
• Promoting appropriate standards of technical best practices
• Approving the solution is technically fit for purpose prior to deployment
• Managing technical aspects of the transition of the solution into live use

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Must have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Other technical university is viable as well (Math, Physics, engineering specializations in general) – in this case good programming background is a must
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer with expertise in building complex, technical software systems using .NET technologies
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET, preferably .NET Core 6+ and their associated ecosystems and tools
• Experience in industry-domain algorithm development, including sensor data processing, signal interpretation, compensation and calibration models, real-time performance optimization, data quality assurance and validation
• Hands-on experience with Linux development in Docker-based, microservices environments
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding quality with a customer-centric mindset
• Jenkins CI, GitLab, Ansible, shell (bash) scripting in Linux

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional team environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of other programming and scripting languages (C++, Python) considered big advantage
