What will you do? 
As a Data Engineer at Cat Digital's Slovakian branch, you will contribute to design, development and deployment of Caterpillar’s state of the art digital program. You will be responsible for:
-Development of applications focused around delivering business valuable features.
-Assist other engineers, providing technical assistance and collaboration.
-Adhere to best practices towards code standards and procedures
-Performing integrated testing to ensure timely, quality results.

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
-Knowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
-Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
-Solid experience in designing and developing software applications in Python.  
-Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases – e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL etc.
-Passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.  
-Experience working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum) 

Top Candidates will also have:
-Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
-Knowledge of deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps etc.  
-Good understanding of AWS cloud platform – components, services, cloud-native architecture etc.; experience with IaC – Terraform or CloudFormation
