Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our  team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI development and administration, advanced data modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and deploy them to Power BI Service.
• Configure and manage workspaces, datasets, dataflows, and apps in Power BI Service.
• Utilize AI advanced analytics (PBI AI visuals, Python integration)
• Schedule and monitor data refreshes; troubleshoot data gateway issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements and ensure report accuracy.
• Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, DAX optimization, and incremental refresh strategies.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service).
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power BI data modeling
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
• Experience with Power BI Serviceadministration: dataset management, workspace configuration, deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with Python for running machine learning algorithms and integrating results into Power BI.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, ML).
• Knowledge of Power BI REST API or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps) a plus.
