Interested in what will be your tasks?

• Oversee daily financial operations including journal entries, intercompany invoicing, fixed asset accounting (capitalizations, disposals, transfers), and creation/maintenance of asset cards and projects in ERP.

• Lead month-end close activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and SOX requirements.

• Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies and aged items, and manage intercompany transactions and cross charges.

• Support internal and external audits by coordinating walkthroughs, fieldwork, and delivering high-quality documentation.

• Collaborate with regional controllers and cross-functional teams (PTP, ICO, GBS) to ensure accurate reporting and alignment.

• Perform financial analyses, provide ad-hoc insights, drive process improvements, and contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What kind of energy we are looking for?

• Collaborative, positive, and innovative mindset with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to learn.

• Degree in business administration or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years in finance and basic accounting knowledge.

• Familiarity with SAP, corporate structures, Clarios’ business strategy, and financial statement implications.

• Ability to prepare financial analyses and connect various finance processes across departments.

• Strong client focus, creative and analytical thinking, time management, and proactive communication.

• Understanding of SOX controls and the broader process landscape, including dependencies and cross-functional impacts.

The starting salary is at min 1 500 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.

This amount is our minimal offered salary. Clarios values each and every candidate and we ensure our compensation package aligns with your professional experience and your expectation.
