Collection Specialist (Global position)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
MAIN MISSION:
The Collection Specialist strives to reduce overdue Accounts Receivable by analysing root causes and work with the respective departments to reduce defects resulting in the decrease of customer disputes. A strong focus on end to end processes as well as process improvements ensures that disputes are identified immediately and corrective actions are being put in place.

Key Activities Performed on a Daily Basis:
Process owner of order to cash with specific focus on dispute management.
Key responsible to reduce overdue Accounts Receivables and DSO.
Strong collaboration and coordination with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Quality and project mgmt departments to ensure process deficiences (in O2C) are identified and corrected.
Analysis and resolution of financial or quantity discrepancies in payments; communication with customers to ensure full settlement of outstanding amounts or to request any missing documentation.
Key user of customer portals.
Implementation and maintenance of a standard dunning procedure.
Review of credit limits, credit hold, delivery blocks, etc. where appropriate.
Strong focus on process improvements to reduce overdues and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Creation and modification of master data on customer accounts.

Key Activities Performed on a Weekly/Monthly Basis:
Support customer onboarding process (e.g. review of EDI or SBI set up, VAT setting, specific invoice layout, etc.)
Review of customer masterdata
Preparation of regular reports (aging, overdue, etc.)
Review of tooling orders in relation to correct VAT treatment.

Other Activities:
Preparation of documentation in accordance with audit requirements and needs.
Developing and identifying ways to improve customer relations with the aim of continuous
enhancement and customer satisfaction.
Strong focus on the implementation of improvements to internal processes.
Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
