OPS Manager - Projects, Audits & Processes

The OPS Manager, Projects, Audits & Processes, will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our projects and processes. This individual will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various initiatives, contribute to the improvement of operational workflows, and assist in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for optimization. Key Responsibilities:

Projects (Approx. 60%):

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, identify potential risks or deviations and report to management.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely updates.
• Assist with post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.

Audits (Approx. 20%):

• Support the planning and execution of internal IT audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISMS), and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data, documentation, and evidence for audit purposes.
• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Track the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of audit methodologies and checklists.

Processes (Approx. 20%):

• Document and analyze existing IT operational processes (e.g., incident management, change management, demand planning) to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with various IT teams to design and implement optimized workflows and best practices.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment, ideally with some exposure to project coordination, process improvement, or quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Basic understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus.
• Exposure to or understanding audit principles and compliance standards is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Experience with process mapping tools.
