What you`ll do:

As a Senior Developer you will be joining our newly established CAP Team in Munich and Bratislava. You will help us shaping the BTP development experience by building and maintaining integrations between CAP and available BTP services in an innovative, agile, and pragmatic fashion.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conceptualize, design, implement and test features end-to-end along the product backlog.
• Drive and coordinate concepts, designs and development within the team and beyond.
• Actively participate in code and design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align technical concepts, establish a close relationship and channel their feedback back into the development cycle.

What you bring:

• University degree in computer science or an equivalent field and a profound knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles.
• Professional programming skills in one or more of Java, JavaScript, Typescript and experience in at least one backend framework such as Spring Boot or NodeJS.
• Extensive professional experience of the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment incl. use of development tools like Git/GitHub, Maven, NPM and others.
• Proven experience with web-based API practices like REST, OpenAPI Specification, GraphQL, OData, JSON.
• Reliable and open-minded with strong team working and communication skills, ability to work independently, and to prioritize.
• We are looking for a strong individual with more than 5 years professional working experience in software development.
• Excellent English language skills are beneficial.
• Plus: Experience with SAP BTP runtimes (Cloud Foundry / Kyma) and its core services.
