Special Needs Teacher

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Conducts diagnostic activities, except for assessments used for classifying a child or pupil into a class or school for students with special educational needs or gifted students, and excluding assessments intended for formal expert reports.
• Offers special education counseling and consultations to legal guardians and provides methodological support to teaching and professional staff within the school or school
  facility.
• Assists children, pupils, teachers, and other staff in overcoming educational and developmental barriers that affect learning and inclusion.
• Cooperates with counseling and prevention centers to ensure aligned and comprehensive support for students.
• Participates in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of pupils requiring specific adjustments or accommodations.
• Provides direct teaching activities in specialized educational subjects based on the student’s specific needs.
• Coordinates and offers methodological guidance to teaching assistants working with students with special educational needs.
• Encourages collaboration between teachers, professional staff, legal guardians, and external experts or organizations (both individuals and legal entities), fostering an inclusive educational environment.
