Head of Process Engineering Department

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

​We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Process & Automation Engineer to lead the development and execution of innovative manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background, deep process engineering expertise, and a passion for driving automation initiatives that align with our business objectives. This role involves team management, cross-departmental collaboration, and active participation in product development phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement automation and process development strategies that support and advance organizational goals.
• Lead, plan, and delegate assignments to a team of approximately 10 Process department members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Participate actively in company development projects, especially during the concept phase, providing technical insights and process design input.
• Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with the R&D department to ensure seamless integration of process and product development initiatives.
• Design, optimize, and industrialize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Develop and deploy automation solutions utilizing PLCs, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Test, debug, and validate machines and automation systems, preparing detailed reports on findings and resolutions.
• Analyze and report on customer requirements to ensure manufacturing processes meet or exceed expectations.
• Support the Sales and Service teams by providing technical expertise, process insights, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Manage complex project launches, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of critical issues under high-pressure situations.
• Utilize KPIs and performance metrics to monitor, analyze, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to align priorities, facilitate decision-making, and ensure project success.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Proven leadership in engineering teams, with project management experience
• Deep knowledge of process engineering and process optimization
• Strong automation expertise: PLCs, robotics, Industry 4.0 solutions
• Experience in testing, debugging, and reporting on machines and systems
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with R&D, Sales, and Service teams
• Data-driven mindset, with experience using KPIs for continuous improvement
• Ability to plan and delegate tasks to a team (10 people)
• Experience in product development, especially concept-phase involvement
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex project launches
• Your technical education (university educations is an advantage)
• Your English language on communicative level (at least B2)
• Your willingness to travel abroad (especially to Germany)
