Group Buyer (m/f/d)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
• In this position, you will design and implement purchasing strategies for assigned commodities, taking into account market conditions and customer requirements for individual production plants within the Vaillant Group.
• In connection with the procurement of commodities at the group level, you will be responsible for selecting suppliers, negotiating prices, and concluding contracts in accordance with the fulfillment of quality agreements based on the fulfillment of group quality objectives.
• Ensuring supplies within a given commodity in critical market situations will be one of your key tasks.
• The quality of data and documents relating to regular planning and monitoring of material prices, as well as the maintenance of this data, completion and subsequent archiving of supplier contracts and documents will also be part of your work.
• You will prepare and conduct management meetings and regular workshops with suppliers in the area of cost optimization and innovation.
• In this position, you will communicate with local buyers and colleagues from other departments at the plant, as well as with colleagues at the international level.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• You have successfully completed secondary/higher education in a technical/business field, or you have relevant experience in the same or a similar position in a manufacturing company.
• You want to use English on a daily basis, participate in meetings with suppliers, and collaborate with colleagues across the Vaillant Group.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP are an advantage.
• You have strong communication and negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
