Head of Onboarding

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Head of Onboarding to lead and manage our client onboarding function. This role will focus on ensuring all onboarding activities meet strict AML and compliance standards, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in the onboarding process. The successful candidate will work closely with the AML and Compliance teams to establish robust controls and guarantee that regulatory obligations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring adherence to AML, CDD, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the collection, verification, and approval of client documentation in line with internal policies and legal frameworks.
• Act as the main point of contact between the onboarding function and AML/Compliance teams.
• Ensure high-quality due diligence reviews and risk assessments are performed on all new clients.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve onboarding policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Monitor onboarding performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor the onboarding team, providing guidance on regulatory standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on evolving AML/KYC regulations and ensure ongoing compliance across the onboarding function.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in onboarding, AML/KYC, or compliance operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, customer due diligence (CDD), and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes.
• Experience working closely with AML and Compliance teams in a regulated financial services environment.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and strengthen operational controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field (ACAMS or equivalent AML/KYC certification is a strong advantage).
