Plant Controller

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The Plant Controller plays a key role in supporting the Krivan Plant by providing accurate financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis. This position ensures transparency in financial results, drives efficiency through data-driven insights, and acts as a business partner to senior leaders and plant teams. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI development to enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the Krivan plant.

Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.

Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial data for reporting purposes.

2. Cost Controlling

Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including standard costs, scrap, and variances.

Update and maintain standard cost calculations; analyze deviations in inventory, scrap, and operating expenses.

Support make-or-buy decisions, CAPEX evaluations, ROI calculations, and profitability analysis by product or line.

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Prepare monthly management reports with variance analysis versus budget and forecast.

Develop and maintain KPIs to track efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.

Provide actionable insights to plant leadership and functional heads to improve financial results.

4. Business Partnering

Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and plant teams, ensuring financial implications are considered in decision-making.

5. Compliance & Internal Controls

Ensure adherence to corporate controlling standards and SOX requirements.

Support internal and external audits related to controlling processes.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Solid experience in controlling or financial analysis within an automotive or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting, variance analysis, and KPI development.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Experience with financial reporting tools and data visualization is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across functions.

Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
