Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are part of Swiss Re’s P&C Digital & Technology Re organization and are looking for an enthusiastic AI Engineer who is passionate about applying cutting-edge AI techniques to complex, real-world risk challenges. We build global AI-driven products that support underwriting, pricing, claims, and risk management across Property & Casualty Reinsurance.

While we value a strong foundation in machine learning, we place equal emphasis on robust engineering practices, scalable cloud-native infrastructure, and deploying AI solutions into reliable production systems.

-Design and deploy AI solutions to extract insights from complex underwriting and claims documents using Generative AI
-Build and operationalize machine learning models supporting risk selection, pricing, and portfolio steering
-Develop AI tools to help automate and make our business more efficient

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
To be successful in this role, you bring:
-A degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field
-Proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks
-Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and MLOps practices
-Strong engineering mindset and appreciation for clean, maintainable, production-ready code

It is a strong plus if you also have:
-Experience deploying AI systems into production environments, including monitoring, observability, and lifecycle management
-Experience working with large-scale data pipelines and distributed systems
-Experience in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or document intelligence
-Interest in AI robustness, explainability, governance, and secure model deployment
-Exposure to Insurance or Reinsurance, particularly in Property & Casualty a plus but not required
