In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

About the Role

As a member of the HR Business Management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting key strategic and operational initiatives for HR of the Business Unit Property & Casualty Reinsurance. This position offers high exposure and direct interaction with HR senior leaders in different countries, providing you with a unique opportunity to support decision-making at the highest levels. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that promises a steep learning curve. This role will enable you to sharpen your skills in strategic partnering, performance monitoring and reporting, operational excellence, and effective communication

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Partner with the Department Head to define and track strategic priorities and key initiatives.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on critical topics, such as productivity benchmarks, and progress reports, to support data-driven decision making. This includes managing dashboards and regular structured activities
• Develop and standardize scorecards and dashboards for performance monitoring. Monitor departmental KPIs and prepare performance reports and dashboards.
• Facilitate communication of progress and changes in prioritization across HR.
• Drive execution of high-impact projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Facilitate quarterly and annual planning processes. Oversee resource and budget planning across HR departments. Liaise with FP&A to ensure alignment of HR priorities with financial planning.
• Advise on financial scenarios and support decision-making.

Operational Excellence and Operational Risk Management

• Act as a key contact for risk and compliance topics within the department.
• Support the Operational Risk Management for the department (incl. RCSA reviews and operational incident reporting).
• Promote awareness and continuous improvement in risk and control behaviours.
• Identify and support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership support and Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Process management tasks, including Leadership Committee and other committee processes (agenda setting, action item tracking), and support internal management of local entity boards.
• Handle ad-hoc activities as needed, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
• Act as a liaison between the department and other business units to ensure alignment and information flow.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives and working groups.

Communication & Engagement

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent development initiatives and team engagement activities.

About You

Our ideal new colleague should be an experienced strategic thinker with strong operational skills, dedicated to consistently delivering high-quality work. They should be reliable, accountable, and committed to excellence in every task they undertake.

Essentials:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, chief of staff or similar roles.
• Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel.
• Language skills: Excellent command in English (verbal and written).
• Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex information into clear, concise formats.
• Ability to independently conduct tasks and lead projects, taking ownership and driving initiatives.
• Strong motivation to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time.
• Ability to work under pressure and quickly absorb new topics and tasks.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills.

An advantage:

• Experience in managing complex projects and organizational change.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to influence without authority.
• Experience working in a matrixed or fast-paced environment is a plus.
