Supplier Quality Engineer (Global position)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT & COLLABORATION:
- Lead problem-solving activities with suppliers to ensure quality issue resolution
- Manage Supplier Quality Projects, collaborating with internal teams for continuous improvement
- Support chargeback processes to recover costs for non-conforming components
- Deliver the Supplier components PPAP

AUDITS & COMPLIANCE:
- Conduct on-site supplier audits based on VDA 6.3. to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Review Reverse PFMEA results and assess risk mitigation measures
- Participate in preventive audits for quality compliance and continuous improvement on Group level

DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING:
- Maintain accurate documentation of supplier quality activities and claim management
- Provide Rank A Yokoten for sharing best practices among suppliers
- Support the Top Worst Supplier Program for driving improvement initiatives
- Establish and maintain quality KPIs for supplier performance monitoring
- Share the Supplie rmonthly evaluation records with Suppliers
- Analyze data for trends and improvement opportunities
- Present comprehensive supplier quality reports to stakeholders
- Drive data-driven continuous improvement initiatives

SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION:
- Act as the primary point of contact for regional suppliers, addressing quality concerns promptly
- Collaborate with the Group Sourcing Committee to evaluate supplier capabilities
- Assess and validate new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Manage validation of supplier components, aligning with project milestones
- Identify and escalate technical issues related to suppliers
- Provide support during sensitive situations or major roadblocks with suppliers
- Conduct preventive audits and communicate findings to suppliers
