DevOps Engineer (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) – Security focus

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join the technology team of a leading global telecommunications company. In this role, you will help build and operate secure, reliable, and highly automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines for customer-facing platforms. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to embed security into every stage of the software development lifecycle and support the safe delivery of services used by millions of customers.

Cooperation: COW (TPP/HPP) or B2B - freelancing, long term cooperation

Working model: hybrid (2-3x on-site in Bratislava or Brno)

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security requirements into the SDLC
• Implement, maintain, and improve security tools, processes, and best practices
• Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical guidelines
• Automate security checks and controls within CI/CD pipelines
• Promote secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to incidents
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years in DevSecOps / Cloud / Security-related role
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
• Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security best practices, security tools, vulnerability scanners, and monitoring solutions
• Advanced Linux/UNIX system administration skills
• Advanced English (spoken and written)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
