CNC Programmer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a Software Designer to join our local technical team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and commissioning software for industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development CNC for special-purpose machinery
and industrial systems.
- Programming and configuration of motor controllers and motion systems.
- Collaboration with the mechanical and electrical design teams to define machine functionalities.
- Implementation of software architectures based on project specifications and standards.
- Functional testing, debugging, and commissioning of automation systems (both in-house and at customer sites).
- Support to installation and start-up activities in Slovakia and occasionally abroad.
- Interface and coordination with the HQ technical department in Italy.
- Preparation of technical documentation, manuals, and functional descriptions.
- Drafting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

- Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
- Previous experience in the industrial machinery sector: machine tools, sheet metal forming systems, automatic/custom machinery.
- Good knowledge of CNC programming.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of motion control systems (servos, inverters, drives).
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus).
- Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player with autonomy and flexibility.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for system commissioning (domestic and international).
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Italian is a plus.
