Manufacturing Engineer (Geometry) - Propulsion (VCK)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
What you'll do

• Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to secure and coordinate the Battery Geometry Assurance for an assigned vehicle/project within Geometry Network during all stages 
  of a project and in full production following Volvo Standards/Procedures;
• Provide experience from System Solution (DRMs), Supplier Capabilities and Measuring of current Products;
• Judge and define additional measuring requirements for analysis in which equipment or way is most appropriate;
• Evaluate modifications and adjustments resulting from analysis in the plant;
• Create the proper geometry indicators management/status to inform Plant management;
• Develop and design your equipment and process area (Battery and/ or Electrical engine production) according to Volvo standards;
• Improve the techniques & methods used by the team following the project through product development & feedback to achieve flawless launch according to project KPI requirement for Battery or Electrical engine;
• Take part in RFQ=Request For Quotation of equipment - cost estimations, development of process concepts, supplier relations, continuous alignment with customers, installing and commissioning.

What you'll bring

• Previous manufacturing engineering as well as geometry experience working on equipment projects (project lead/installation/commissioning) with Body in White products from Supplier to Audit, is mandatory;
• Ability to analyze product and process outcome to balance and propose correct recommendation (Time, Technique, Cost);
• Previous working experience with sourcing process (internal & external relations in sourcing), and Project management experience;
• Preferred engineering education: Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, or equivalent;
• Problem-solving DMAIC knowledge;
• FMEA experience;
• Good understanding of Teamcenter, CATIA V5, Auto CAD;
• Conversational in English, written and spoken, and proficient in Slovak language;
• Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, although based in Kosice District, Slovakia;
• Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
• Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
• Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.
