In the role of Reinsurance Finance & Accounting Expert, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities across accounting, controlling, and reporting, contributing to the financial backbone of our reinsurance operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing IFRS financial statements for the UNIQA Group, managing the ledger for IFRS17 in SAP FI and SAP FPSL.
• Support timely completion of financial statements according to Swiss GAAP/OR for UNIQA Re, using the local ledger in SAP FI.
• Support consolidation and reconciliation processes
• Assist with reinsurance settlements and claims administration
• Calculate and post reinsurance transactions
• Manage liquidity flows and receivables
• Contribute to internal and external reporting frameworks
• Support internal control procedures
• Prepare documentation for audits

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver reinsurance training
• Participate in group-wide projects focused on automation and digitization
• Drive process and system optimization

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• University degree in business administration or a professional certificate in finance and accounting.
• Excellent completion of a commercial apprenticeship or similar training.
• Solid business administration knowledge and several years of practical accounting experience in a primary and/or reinsurance company.
• Familiarity with Swiss legislation, supervisory guidelines, and the insurance market is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP/OR accounting regulations a stron advantage
• Comprehensive IT knowledge, especially in accounting and reinsurance-specific tools like SAP FI, SAP FS-RI, SICS, etc.
• Ability to quickly acquire additional user knowledge and support digital transformation.
• Experience with workbenches in the reinsurance area.
• Strong analytical skills to validate financial figures, check KPIs, and create precise reports and analyses.
• Proficiency in English, German is a plus.
