GL Accountant

Regal Rexnord is looking for a detail‑oriented and driven General Ledger Accountant to join our growing finance organization. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy partnering across teams, and take pride in delivering accurate financial results, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a global industry leader.Assist with the general ledger month-end close and presentation of the balance sheet and income statement results and analysis for various companies. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure monthly account reconciliations are analyzed, prepared, approved and appropriately maintained with supporting documentation as directed by local statutory regulations and Internal Audit for SOX compliance.  

• Provide back-up support for internal and external audit requests related to General Ledger accounts. 

• Post Onestream adjustments that are recorded in the general ledger.  

• Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly accruals and records journal entries as needed. 

• Perform quarterly roll‑forwards for assigned accounts.

• Partner with plant locations as well as the shared services departments to ensure GL activity is accurate.  

• Analyze financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances. 

• Perform intercompany balancing and resolve discrepancies across global entities.

• Support the strategic direction of accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
