Development Team Lead

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Oversee the full application lifecycle – from design and development to deployment – with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and high-quality standards.

• Ensure adherence to best development practices and coding standards.

• Work with technologies such as React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and REST APIs to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support automated testing and unit testing to ensure code quality and minimize bugs.

• Collaborate with international and distributed teams, including across time zones – strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

• Provide technical guidance to the team, helping resolve complex challenges and promoting continuous learning and growth.

• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Continuously improve development processes and suggest new tools or technologies that could enhance team productivity.

• Ensure application security by regularly applying security patches and maintaining system and data integrity.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, leading development teams and managing projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern application design principles and practices.
• Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to implement and manage them effectively.
• Proven experience in test automation and unit testing.
• Experience working in international and distributed teams, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
