About the Role: Accounting & HR Specialist, Pixii Slovakia

The Accounting & HR Specialist will act as the local point of contact for finance and HR activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with Slovak regulations and company policies. While strategic direction and systems/policies/processes for Finance and HR are managed by the headquarters, this role is critical for executing local administrative tasks, supporting employees, and maintaining accurate records. The position bridges global standards with local implementation, providing timely support in accounting, HR administration, and office management to enable efficient business operations.


What you’ll be doing:
Accounting

  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions and processing payments in line with public accounting regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
  • Post and accrue costs and revenues to maintain accurate accounts.
  • Oversee expense management, credit card reconciliation, and intercompany accounting activities.
  • Monitor and quality-check accounts to ensure compliance and correct reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with local management and serve as the main contact for Pixii headquarters in Norway regarding accounting and financial reporting.
  • Provide financial and analytical support to the Finance and other department heads.

HR

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, employment contracts).
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Slovak employment laws and mitigate risks related to HR policies.
  • Manage office administration (e.g., ordering supplies).
  • Plan and organize company events such as team-building activities and social gatherings.
  • Handle other ad hoc tasks as required.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role; HR experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and drive to thrive in a fast-growing, international company.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
