About this role

As our successful projects portfolio is continuously growing, we are looking for a skilled agile-oriented Project Manager, who helps us keep our software engineering processes and activities efficient and flexible. We need an expert, which will ensure that our project activities will be set up to meet all main agile aspects like flexibility, effective work breakdown, the value of teamwork, and iterative improvements. We want to actively adopt agile frameworks, practices, and methodologies to our projects, so we are looking for enthusiasts with experience in Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies. You will be managing, coordinating, and communicating with experienced developers, managers, specialists, and all relevant parties included in the software development process. You will also oversee our product usage in live, productive environments, keep track of production problems and issues, and ensure that our software development priorities are aligned with real-world usage data

Reports to

Core responsibilities:

• assist in the definition of the project objectives, priorities and timeline
• create and manage a project schedule and plan
• monitor project progress status and make adjustments based on estimation and progress
• provide project updates and progress to the stakeholders, report all obstacles to the management
• ensure that managed products meet their scope and deadline
• act as a touchpoint between numerous teams,
• actively communicate, collaborate and share project information with all relevant parties
• lead daily routines, support and guide all relevant teams in their project management related agenda
• keep the project on track, measure project and developer performance, identify project areas that need improvement
• Analyze production data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• University education (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree)
• Postgraduate degree is a plus
• written and spoken English - at least Upper-intermediate (B2)
• demonstrable experience in project management of software development projects (3+ years)
• ability to solve problems, analytical skills
• knowledge of the whole project lifecycle
• skills in agile frameworks, practices, and methodologies, Scrum Master or similar certificate is a plus
• ability to understand technical terms, experience with programming
• experience with product ownership, and business analysis
• experience with Source Control Management tools like git, subversion, etc.
• high communication skills
• ability to track project status and meet deadlines
• ability to translate production issues into actionable development tasks
