Currently we offer an exciting career kickstart at PANTHEON.tech: we are looking for Python Trainee with AI.

What will be your tasks? (key responsibilities)

• Python Backend Development: Learning and assisting with writing clean Python code, fixing bugs, and implementing backend tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.

• AI-Assisted Coding & Learning: Using modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude) to speed up your learning curve, generate initial code drafts, and write unit tests.

• Exposure to Agentic Systems: Assisting with testing and integrating basic AI workflows, API connections, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Writing basic unit tests, analyzing application logs, and learning how to validate AI-generated outputs for reliability.

• Basic Task Automation: Writing helper scripts (Python/Bash) to automate repetitive daily tasks and streamline developer workflows.

What do we expect from you? (requirements)

• Core Python Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Python basics (syntax, data structures, functions, basic OOP) through university coursework, side projects, or self-study.

• Enthusiasm for AI Tools: Curiosity and basic hands-on experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to assist with coding, debugging, or learning new technical concepts.

• Eagerness to Learn: A proactive mindset with a drive to learn modern software development practices, read existing codebases, and adapt quickly.

• Logical & Critical Thinking: Ability to break down problems step-by-step and critically verify AI-generated code rather than blindly copying answers.

• Technical Foundations: Basic knowledge of Git version control, Linux/Bash commands, fundamental REST API concepts, and basic networking principles. 

• A clean criminal record is required.

• Language: English B2+

Pantheon Academy is an excellent way to start your career as a Developer or Tester. We provide space for growth and young talents are more than welcome in our organization. The Trainee Program lasts for 3 months and the salary starts at 1,100 euros. Your salary grows together with increasing experience, by 100 euros every month. By the end of our Academy, you will be ready to be promoted to Software Developer with a base salary 1,500 euros. Further increase is considered yearly based on your results.

Skill matrix by experience level

• Junior - 1500 - 1900€

  • Data processing basics (JSON, YAML, file handling) & SQL fundamentals

  • Knowledge of Git, Linux, Bash, and unit testing experience

  • Basic familiarity with prompt engineering and AI coding assistants

• Semi-Senior - 1900 - 2600 €

  • Asynchronous programming (Asyncio), ORMs (SQLAlchemy), and web API development (FastAPI/Flask/Django)

  • Frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript)

• Senior / Expert - starting 2600 €

  • Deep Python mastery (language internals, data model, standard library) and cloud experience (AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD)

  • Advanced architecture design for agentic loops, and AI guardrails in production

  • Real-time communication (WebSocket, gRPC) and overview of complementary technologies (e.g., Golang)
