Junior Java Developer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge manufacturing systems within the automotive industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on in a production environment, contributing directly to system stability, deployment, and production ramp-up activities.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working close to real-world operations and industrial processes.

​Working model: 100 % on-site in Kosice (offering significant flexibility)​​

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment of new releases across manufacturing and integration systems
• Configure applications to align with production processes and business needs

• Perform system integration and regression testing
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside business and project teams
• Ensure system reliability following updates and changes

• Create and maintain technical documentation (deployments, configurations, troubleshooting guides)
• Support the preparation of business and operational documentation

• Investigate and resolve issues across manufacturing systems and integrations
• Report defects and incidents with clear root-cause analysis input

• Collaborate with industrialization teams during system rollout and pre-production phases
• Provide hands-on support to end users in a live production environment

• Share regular updates with project stakeholders
• Participate in team meetings, delivery cycles, and coordination forums

Must-Have Skills

• Basic experience with Java and object-oriented programming
• Understanding of backend and frontend integration principles
• Fundamentals of SQL and problem-solving skills
• Structured mindset and ability to work in process-driven environments

• Familiarity with Spring Boot,Apache Kafka, or IBM MQ
• Basic knowledge of Angular
