Senior BI Data Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
As a Senior BI Data Analyst, you'd own the reporting layer for a fast-moving e-commerce business operating across 21 European markets – not just build dashboards, but decide how the data behind them should be modelled, structured and scaled.
• You'd design and build Power BI reports end-to-end – from data model to DAX logic to the final visual – working directly in our global data warehouse, where performance and structure are your responsibility, not someone else's problem to fix later.
• You'd sit with managers and stakeholders as their analytics counterpart, pushing back on vague requests and shaping them into reporting that actually answers the underlying business question.
• You'd have the room to go looking for what isn't being asked – trends worth flagging, manual processes worth automating, reports worth retiring.
• You'd set the bar for data quality and validation on your own work, and be a reference point the rest of the team checks their instincts against.
• You'd take analyses into business reviews and make the numbers land with people who don't think in tables and measures.
• You'd be the person colleagues come to when a DAX formula won't behave or a data model needs rethinking.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
Experience in data analysis and visualization – minimum 4 years, including experience working directly with business stakeholders

Must-have
• You build in Power BI the way a senior does it – DAX, data modelling and Power Query aren't things you look up, they're how you think.
• SQL is a working language for you, not a checkbox – you're comfortable querying and making sense of large datasets on your own.
• You have a genuinely analytical mind: you dig until you find the real question behind the question.
• You've sat across the table from business stakeholders before and know how to hold your ground on what "good" reporting looks like.
• You can take a loosely defined business problem and turn it into a reporting solution without needing it spelled out.
• You catch data quality issues before anyone else does – it's instinct, not a step you remember to do.
• You can walk a room full of non-technical people through your findings and have them actually get it.

Nice-to-have
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• A background in e-commerce.
• You already use AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude to move faster – and you're curious to push that further.

Personality prerequisites and skills:
• You own your work end-to-end and don't need someone checking in to know it's on track.
• You can manage several stakeholders and shifting priorities without losing focus.
• You communicate with confidence, whether that's in a Slack thread or in front of senior leadership.
• You notice what could be better before someone asks you to fix it.
• You're glad to share what you know – colleagues learn something every time they work with you.
