BI Data Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
As a BI Data Analyst, you'd be part of the team building out reporting for a fast-moving e-commerce business operating across 21 European markets – working with our data warehouse to turn business questions into reports people actually rely on, with a strong focus on the financial side of the business.

You'd design and build Power BI reports – from data model to DAX logic to the final visual – working closely with our database and BI specialists along the way.
You'd work directly with Finance and other business stakeholders, helping them shape a rough idea into a report that actually answers their question – margins, costs and P&L included.
You'd get comfortable spotting trends, inconsistencies and manual work worth automating, and suggest where reporting could do more.
You'd take care of data quality and validation on the reports you build, so people can trust the numbers without double-checking them.
You'd help present findings in business reviews, explaining what the data shows – and what it means financially – in a way that lands with people who don't work with Power BI day to day.
You'd grow into a go-to person for Power BI, DAX and Power Query on the team, with support from more senior colleagues along the way.s rethinking.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including confident use of DAX, data modelling and Power Query
• Good SQL skills and the confidence to analyse large datasets, plus solid working knowledge of Excel
• A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Ability to translate business questions into reporting solutions
• High attention to data quality and validation
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences
• A finance background, with an understanding of P&L, margins and cost structures
• Fluent English and Slovak, since you'll be working closely with both local and international colleagues

Nice-to-have
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience working in e-commerce
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity
• Basic Python skills
