Senior Tax Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented expert who will ensure compliance of accounting with all applicable tax regulations. In this position, you will participate in the comprehensive management of issues related to taxes and customs matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with current legislation in the area of taxes and customs
• Monitoring changes in legislation and their impact on business
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns and customs declarations
• Responsible for the preparation and filing of VAT tax returns, including the preparation of control and summary reports
• Performing the calculation of corporate income tax
• Preparing and filing tax returns related to excise duties, motor vehicle taxes, and property taxes
• Ensuring tax audit compliance
• Analyzing, planning, and optimizing tax processes
• Collaborating with internal departments and external advisors
• Providing support to various departments within the company and offering expert advice on tax and customs regulations, as well as to the shared services center

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• At least 3 years of experience in tax consulting
• Knowledge of current tax legislation in Slovakia
• University degree in economics
• Advanced proficiency in the English language
• Experience working in an international environment is an advantage
• Analytical skills and attention to detail when working with numbers
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
