RGS Core QA Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an QA professional who can independently own testing activities for a defined product area while contributing to automation and continuous quality improvements. If you are a technically strong QA Engineer who enjoys working on backend systems, APIs, and automation rather than UI-heavy testing. Your Responsibilities will include :

Test Strategy & Planning

• Define and maintain feature-level test strategies and test plans.

• Determine appropriate test coverage across unit, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Define automation approaches and testing environment requirements.

Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for:

  • API testing

  • Integration testing

  • Regression testing

  • End-to-end scenarios

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Continuously improve automation coverage and test reliability.

Manual Testing

• Execute manual testing for complex scenarios, exploratory testing, and newly developed features.

• Validate backend services, APIs, and platform functionality across releases.

Regression Testing

• Maintain regression test suites.

• Execute regression testing before every release.

• Identify, document, and track regressions through resolution.

Quality Assurance & Release Support

• Provide QA sign-off for completed features.

• Verify acceptance criteria and testing requirements are met.

• Ensure no critical defects remain before release.

Non-functional Testing (Support)

• Support performance, load, scalability, reliability, and security testing.

• Collaborate with DevOps on performance monitoring and environment validation.

Compliance and documentation

• Produce and maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and traceability records.

• Support certification and audit activities by providing required testing artifacts.

• Follow internal quality and compliance processes, including mandatory AML/CFT training.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Must - have skills

• Strong technical background in software engineering or computer science

• Experience with backend testing and API validation

• Test automation experience (preferably Playwright)

• Strong SQL knowledge

• Experience with at least one scripting language

• Basic programming knowledge (C#, Java, or similar)

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools for:

  • test case generation

  • test data generation

  • automation support

  • documentation

• Ability to design test cases and execute the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

• Experience investigating defects and reproducing production issues

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, data integrity, and security testing

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
