Project Leader

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

In this role, you will take ownership of engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet technical, budget, and schedule expectations. You will evaluate design solutions, verify their feasibility, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. A key part of your work will involve maintaining data accuracy and ensuring that all project activities align with regulatory and internal requirements.

You will support cross‑functional teams by providing technical expertise and helping resolve engineering challenges as they arise. You will also develop and communicate operational plans, monitor project progress, and ensure that milestones are achieved. When obstacles occur, you will take proactive steps to resolve issues and keep the project on track.

Your responsibilities will include preparing engineering documentation, create work specifications, and develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. You will also identify and secure the resources needed to successfully execute each project. Beyond these core duties, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and perform additional tasks as assigned.

You will be responsible for communication with customers related to product specifications, quotes, orders and its transition to manufacturing. To plan, maintain and implement customer specifications during the project phase, in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including sales.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Excellent time management, project management skills

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and Strong analytical skills

• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects

• Stress resistant

• Proven working experience (3+ years) as a Project  Engineer or in a similar role, within a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies, experience with ERP and MES systems

• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD)

• More than 5 years of experience in project engineering, within high-volume steel production or similar industries, demonstrating a track record of successful process optimization and innovation

• Experiences with NPI (New Product Implementation) for OEM customers

• Experience with the latest technologies in automation and smart manufacturing solutions

• Experience working in or with multinational teams, offering an understanding of global manufacturing standards and the ability to adapt to diverse work cultures
