IT Applications Team Lead (Male/Female)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an IT Applications Team Lead to lead our applications team (6 people) across Slovakia and Hungary.

This is a player-manager role. You will work closely with business stakeholders and stay involved in key solution and integration topics. You will help turn business needs into clear priorities, drive major application changes, and ensure our systems are reliable, supportable and aligned with business goals.

This role is not intended to be directly involved in routine technical systems support, regular on-call, or standard IT operations or troubleshooting.

What you will do:

✅ Lead the applications team and set clear priorities

✅ Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across Slovakia and Hungary

✅ Lead major incidents, critical changes, go-lives and hypercare when needed

✅ Turn business demand into realistic application roadmaps and delivery priorities

✅ Lead solution design and integration discussions for major changes

✅ Oversee the application portfolio, including ownership, lifecycle, risks and support model

✅ Drive standardisation across shared applications

✅ Manage key application vendors and escalation paths

✅ Strengthen ownership clarity, back-up coverage, documentation and runbooks

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

➡️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

➡️ Master's degree preferred

➡️ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT, with at least 5 years in applications, business systems, or solution delivery

➡️ Experience leading teams, workstreams, or application capabilities in a multi-stakeholder environment.

➡️ Ability to lead solution design for business applications and major enhancements

➡️ Good understanding of integration concepts, interfaces, data flows, and system dependencies

➡️ Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, plant-facing, customer-facing, or other core business applications relevant to Danucem

➡️ Language:

• English: Fluent (required)

• Slovak: Fluent (required)

• Hungarian: Advantage
