Finance Manager

Our customer is expanding its presence in Europe with a new manufacturing facility in Žilina, Slovakia. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Manager to serve as the local financial point of contact for the Slovak entity. This individual contributor role is ideal for a self-driven professional who can manage financial documentation, monitor local cost structures, control supplier invoices, and coordinate closely with both external accounting partners and our customer’s finance team in South Korea.

The position offers a stable and independent environment in a newly launched automotive manufacturing site, where precision, clarity, and trust are critical.

• Serve as the local financial liaison between the Slovak plant, external accounting providers, and HQ in South Korea.
• Review and control incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports, cost overviews, and budget input data for HQ and local management.
• Monitor plant-related expenses, investment spending, and cash flows.
• Coordinate monthly closing procedures with external accountants.
• Support audit preparation and documentation when required.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes in cooperation with the global finance team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Slovak financial and tax regulations.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and cost tracking as needed by the plant or HQ teams.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a finance or controlling role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Slovak financial, tax, and compliance regulations.
• Solid Excel skills and ability to work with financial data precisely and independently.
• Experience working with external accounting providers is a strong plus.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Highly organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently with remote HQ teams.
