Sr. HR Generalist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
Automotive HR experience is mandatory. This role is designed for a senior HR professional capable of acting as deputy to the Site HR Manager.

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with strong automotive manufacturing background to join our team in Košice.

This is not a standard HR administration role. We are looking for a senior, hands-on HR professional who can independently manage complex HR topics, work directly with management and deputize the Site HR Manager when needed.

What you will do
- HR reporting, analytics and workforce KPIs
- Labour-law and employee-relations support
- HR governance, policies, audits and compliance
- Support complex HR operational topics and foreign employee cases
- Cooperate directly with Site Management, Payroll, HSE, Operations and HQ HR
- Represent and support the Site HR Manager in selected operational and management topics

What we need
- Several years of HR experience in automotive manufacturing – must have
- Strong HR Generalist / HRBP background
- Excellent knowledge of Slovak Labour Code
- Hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience
- Fluent English, minimum B2+
- Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and drive topics to closure
- Hands-on, resilient and execution-oriented mindset
- Confidence to communicate with senior management and act as deputy to the Site HR Manager

What we are looking for
Must-have requirements:

- Several years of HR experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge of the Slovak Labour Code and employment legislation
- Hands-on and independent experience with SAP SuccessFactors
- Fluent professional English, minimum B2+, including daily written and verbal communication with international management
- Very good knowledge of Excel, HR reporting, data analysis and HR KPIs
- Experience with HR processes, policies, audits and compliance
- Ability to independently analyse problems, propose solutions and drive them through implementation
- Strong execution and ownership mindset
- Diplomatic but appropriately assertive communication style
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing manufacturing environment with operational pressure
- Ability to work independently while acting as a reliable partner to management and the HR team

- Experience supporting German OEM customers or requirements
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA or TISAX requirements relevant to HR
- Experience with HR audits and corrective action management
- Practical experience with employment of foreign and third-country employees
- Experience with work and residence permits and related compliance requirements
- Experience with workforce planning, HR controlling or personnel-cost reporting
- Previous experience in a broad HR Generalist, HRBP or HR Operations role
