Java developer for Smart Buildings

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a project focused on
developing the next generation of a global fire safety system. You will be part of an agile
Scrum (SAFe) team working closely with international colleagues in Switzerland, the USA,
and China on a product that protects lives and valuable assets worldwide.
Our mission is to design and build a highly scalable, distributed system that will be deployed and used across the world.

Your responsibilities:
• Analysis, design, and implementation of software solutions using Java
• Designing robust, maintainable, and testable components
• Documenting architecture, design decisions, and code
• Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure software quality
• Collaboration with cross-functional and international teams in an agile environment

What we expect:
• Solid professional experience with Java SE
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation
• Practical knowledge of software design patterns
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have:
• Experience with UML for design and documentation
• Knowledge of networking technologies (wired/wireless) and protocols such as gRPC, MQTT, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, TCP, UDP, TLS
• Knowledge of German
