Platform Site Reliability Engineer intern (50% student role)

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to start their career! We provide the ingestion infrastructure of our big data analytics platform making sure it is efficient, secure, and reliable. Our team members range from PhD in Mathematics to contributors to known open-source Java libraries and Apache Big Data projects.

If you join us, you will be able to participate in a variety of initiatives. You can learn and improve your skills in activities like:
-Learning about and using infrastructure as code.
-Developing secure CI/CD pipelines to increase automation and development agility
-Managing infrastructure in different cloud providers
-Interacting with other teams and facilitating integrations between multiple platforms

Besides client projects, we work on innovation projects to learn new methodologies and gain experience.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
We understand that nobody is perfect and may not meet 100% of the requirements. However, if you meet some of the criteria below and are genuinely curious about the world of data science, we would be happy to meet you.

Ideally you have the following technical skills and knowledge:
-You are studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
-Knowledge of Docker
-Knowledge of CI/CD concepts
-Knowledge of good security practices/guidelines 

If you also have the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus:
-Background in Software Engineering
-Experience in distributed computing/ databases
-Passionate about orchestration, automation and seamless integration between systems
