About the Role

Your responsibilities will be:
-Own our system and tech landscape which is the foundation of our business applications
-Lead a team of developers and deliver solutions together with Product -Managers and Business Owners
-Oversee the development and maintenance work and drive the technology implementation together with the lead architect
-Ensure that state of the art technology is consistently used in the landscape with highest efficiency
-Connect with internal and external clients to ensure a smooth adoption of our tools and systems

Our team is an empowered tech counterpart for our business units, responsible for the design and implementation of inventive data and software projects. We develop new analytics and software tools and improve Swiss Re's risk assessment capabilities. If you possess traits and experience that match most of the below, we’d love to hear from you:
-Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related quantitative field. We welcome different levels.
-Deep knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: Angular, .Net
-Working experience with Azure, Terraform, NodeJS, Cloudflare, SQL Server and Cosmos DB
-Good communication skills to synchronize tasks, clarify requirements and delivery expectations with business partners and to lead international developer teams
