IT Support Analyst

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users in a fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries and issues. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and providing timely technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Main tasks:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.

• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and provide orientation and training on software applications and IT systems.

• Manage network connectivity, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi.

• Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent technical issues and downtime.

• Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and peripheral devices, and ensure proper disposal of outdated equipment.

• Document and maintain records of IT support requests, resolutions, and related information.

• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT security measures, including backups, virus protection, and firewalls.

• Provide after-hours technical support as needed.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Good English communication skills (level B2/C1)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.

• Solid technical knowledge of hardware, software, and peripherals.

• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical support in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems and MS Office
