At Finax, we’re revolutionizing investing in Central Europe with our robo-advisory platform, making wealth management simple, accessible, and transparent. As we continue expanding, we’re looking for a Financial Manager to lead and develop our finance team while ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of the company.

As Financial Manager, you are part of thelocal management team and you report directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance and reporting team of 4 people (Chief Accountant, Custody & Reporting Specialists)

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals

• Oversee tax, accounting, and capital adequacy compliance

• Ensure strong cash flow management and financial risk mitigation

• Prepare financial reports and analyses for leadership

• Manage audits and collaborate with legal and regulatory bodies

• Drive automation and digitalization of financial processes

• Lead investor relations, present financial results to investors and majority shareholders

• Transitioning to a new accounting system

• Aligning financial reporting with IFRS standards

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• 8+ years of experience in audit, financial management, and accounting (preferably 10+ years), preferably in a regulated sector (banking, investment firms, fintech)
• Hands-on experience with IFRS standards
• Proven ability to build and lead finance team
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-quality projects
• Passion for automation and process optimization
• Fluent English (C1) and native Slovak or Czech
• Knowledge of Slovak and EU financial regulations (NBS, ECB, EBA, ESMA)
