Meetings & Events Operations/Corporate Sales Representative (m/f)

Key Responsibilities:
* Maximizes hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving, handling and processing guest reservations via phone, e-mail, fax
* Confirms reservations to guest in line with hotel's rate policy and explains guarantee and cancellation policies to bookers
* Records reservations in Opera PMS
* Approaches potential clients with the aim of winning new business
* Maintains good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible
* Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment
* Maintains effective correspondence
* Develops data and recommends programs to meet clients’ needs
* Prepares proposals with the Director of Sales and Marketing that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs
* Prepares offers for group reservations and keeps group information up to date
* Is aware of VIP reservations and forwards information about VIPs to other departments
* Is aware of hotel sales targets and supports achieving those targets by utilizing up-selling techniques
* Follows all company policies and procedures
* Manages M&E clients and corresponding events from start to end, from top to toe

* You HAVE worked for reservations/M&E department within hotel environment and WANT to work with Reservations/M&E as well as Sales agenda further on
* You gained first experience with reservations/M&E in hotel background, either at the front desk or in reservations department
* You are flexible, initiative, engaged, well organized and results driven
* You like to work self-dependently
* You enjoy working with guests and thrilling them with creative solutions
* You have very good communication skills and always have a smile on your face, even when it gets really turbulent
* You know Opera PMS or you are eager to get to know it really fast
* You are fluent in written and spoken English and have a proficient command of the Slovak language
