Certification Specialist (PPE)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

VUTCH is a notified and accredited certification body with a long-standing tradition in testing, conformity assessment, and certification services. We support manufacturers and distributors in demonstrating compliance of their products with European regulatory requirements. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Certification Specialist to join our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage certification projects for personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Guide customers through certification procedures and documentation requirements.

• Prepare quotations and provide technical information to customers.

• Review and assess technical documentation and certification files.

• Define testing requirements based on applicable standards and regulations.

• Coordinate testing activities with laboratories and customers.

• Evaluate test results and prepare certification reports.

• Issue certificates and maintain certification records.

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.

• Monitor developments in European legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements related to PPE.

• Participate in technical meetings, training sessions, and industry working groups when required.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Textile Technology, Occupational Safety, or another relevant technical field.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work accurately, systematically, and independently.

• Good communication and customer-oriented approach.

• Professional working proficiency in English, German is a plus.

• Experience in certification, quality management, testing, regulatory affairs, or conformity assessment is an advantage.

• Knowledge of PPE regulations and standards is an advantage.

• Knowledge of textile products and testing principles is beneficial.

• Driving licence category B.

• Willingness to travel internationally, particularly to Belgium for initial training and professional development activities.
