Pilot Quality Project (Automotive)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a skilled and committed Project Quality Pilot (PQP) to join our project team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Within the project team, be the customer's contact for all subjects concerning the scope of product quality during the development phase until final validation of the product.

• Be responsible for the quality level of the product, with a duty to alert in the event of non-compliance.

• Be a source of suggestions for any opportunity to optimize the results in terms of Quality, Cost, and Time of the project

Key Responsibilities

• Define and negotiate product conformity criteria (functional, dimensional, appearance) with the customer.

• Ensure APQP activities (FMEA, MSA, control plans, etc.) are properly phased and executed.

• Lead Product/Process FMEAs and validate control plans and measurement systems.

• Support feasibility analysis and ensure resource planning for quality activities.

• Participate in product qualification tests and ensure geometric convergence.

• Train production teams on product/process specifics and quality tools.

• Monitor and ensure compliance of statistical and repeatability studies.

• Manage quality deliverables, including traceability, conformity, and customer documentation.

• Set up and oversee the “Quality Wall” during series launch to resolve issues.

• Handle customer waivers, exemptions, and ensure proper follow-up and restoration plans.

• Communicate quality indicators and maintain documentation in dedicated systems.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and support the development of new quality tools.

Technical Skills

• Functional rating (drawing reading) and analysis
• Knowledge of plastics processing, assembly and decoration processes.
• Knowledge of the construction of a dimension chain,
• Knowledge of 3D visualization software (example: SolidWorks / WorkXplore / E

Quality Coretool skills

• Mastery of product functional analysis,
• Mastery of product and process FMEA type risk analysis according to the AIAG VDA standard
• Mastery of statistical studies, capability studies, implementation of an MSP
• Mastery of the creation and implementation of a monitoring plan,
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, EN 9100,
• Mastery of problem solving tools (8D, QRQC, DMAIC, etc.),
• Knowledge of setting up and monitoring an experimental plan.

Project Management skills

• Knowledge of the requirements applicable to project management in automotive and industrial sector,
• If applicable, Knowledge of “quality” approaches specific to different customers (automotive manufacturers, tier 1 equipment manufacturer, aeronautical sector customers).
