Student Internship – DevOps for Embedded Software (CI/CD)

About the internship
We are looking for a motivated student intern interested in automation, scripting, and modern development tools, who wants to gain hands-on experience in DevOps for embedded software development.
This is not a classic IT DevOps role. During the internship, you will work closely with embedded software engineers and contribute to automated builds, testing, and CI/CD pipelines for real embedded products.
The internship is suitable for students in technical fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, or automation.
What you will work on
• supporting the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
• assisting with firmware build automation (cross-compilation)
• working with scripts and configurations (e.g. Bash, Python)
• helping integrate testing into CI environments
• collaborating with developers to improve development workflows
• learning and using tools such as Git, CI servers, and Docker

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
What we expect
• university student (Bachelor’s / Master’s), preferably in a technical field
• basic knowledge of Linux environments
• basic scripting skills (e.g. Bash or Python)
• interest in DevOps, automation, or embedded software
• analytical thinking and willingness to learn
• basic knowledge of Git is a plus
Nice to have
• interest or basic experience in embedded development (MCUs, firmware)
• basic knowledge of C/C++
• familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• interest in Docker or container technologies
