Logistics Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate logistics activities for Chery in Slovakia. This role covers end-to-end logistics operations and requires close cooperation with internal teams, HQ and external partners during the market launch and further growth.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• coordinate vehicle and parts shipments, delivery schedules, and transportation activities
• prepare and process shipping, transport, and customs documentation
• track shipments and ensure on-time and accurate deliveries
• communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and transport partners
• support import/export compliance and maintain accurate records
• maintain logistics data, shipment tracking, and inventory information
• assist with logistics planning and reporting for management
• identify and report delays, damages, and operational issues
• verify logistics costs, invoices, and supporting documentation
• support improvements in daily logistics processes and operational efficiency

What knowledge and skills should you have?

• secondary or university education, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or business
• experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• basic understanding of import/export and customs procedures
• ability to work independently and take ownership of daily logistics tasks
• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• good communication skills and problem-solving mindset
• good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• knowledge of Slovak is required
