Country Manager

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

In view of our intention to expand our business on the Slovak market, we invite those who meet the criteria and are willing to cooperate.

The person employed in this position will be responsible for:

• organizing from scratch, according to the received guidelines, a company fully ready to conduct operational activities in the field of international road freight transport, and then for constant supervision over its efficient functioning;
• building a team of employees by recruiting, training, and then organizing and settling their work;
• implementing the operational standards functioning in the TVM group;
• negotiating and concluding agreements to the extent necessary for the company's activities, including with external contractors and financial institutions;
• controlling operating costs and their optimization;
• ensuring compliance of the company's operations with local law;
• ongoing contact with the company's legal, accounting and HR services;
• contact with Slovak public administration authorities;
• preparing reports, studies, analyses - according to the needs of the management board.

The person in this position is expected to have:

• experience in a managerial position in a TSL (Transport Spedition Logistics) entity;
• certificate of professional competence in transport – a necessary condition;
• experience in conducting recruitment processes;
• practical knowledge of the principles of doing business in Slovakia;
• knowledge of the Slovak road freight transport market;
• knowledge of Slovak language and English - to an extent that enables you to communicate freely;
• very good organisation of your own work and of the work of your subordinates;
• computer skills, including MS Office package (Word, Excel);
• ability to work under time pressure;
• ability to lead a team;
• highly developed interpersonal skills;
• reliability and sense of responsibility;
• motivation to work.
