Master Production Schedule Planner

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

As the single point of contact for customer demand, the Master Planner is responsible for customer demand reception & review, master production schedule development, end-to-end finished goods delivery control and customer-side coordination. This role drives end-to-end supply chain operational efficiency and ensures on-time customer delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Demand Management

Receive, validate and analyze customer rolling forecast, call-off and all relevant demand documents; maintain SAP SD Scheduling Agreement to ensure accurate, complete and fully traceable demand data.

2. Master Production Schedule (MPS) Management

Organize cross-functional departments (production, material, quality, etc.) to conduct analysis and review on customer demand. Upon internal alignment, develop and roll update the plant MPS, which serves as the unified decision-making basis for plant material planning and production scheduling.

3. Finished Goods Delivery & Production Order Control

Oversee the end-to-end process of finished goods production, warehousing and shipping. Collaborate with the production scheduling function to monitor daily production order execution and completion status, analyze root causes of uncompleted orders, drive corrective actions from responsible parties and follow up on closure to secure delivery milestones.

4. Customer Collaboration & Transportation Coordination

Take charge of daily operation and data maintenance on customer collaboration platforms (e.g. EDI/WebEDI); submit delivery forecast, shipping advice and all required operational reports per customer requirements on schedule. Coordinate customer-side transportation arrangements and align pickup & shipping timelines to ensure smooth delivery flow.

5. Finished Goods Inventory Management

Define finished goods inventory strategy and safety stock standards; monitor inventory level, turnover efficiency and aging structure; lead the digestion and risk mitigation of obsolete finished goods to optimize inventory structure.

6. Demand Change & Risk Management

Identify business impact caused by customer demand fluctuation and change, synchronize updates with internal relevant departments, escalate delivery risks timely, and lead the development and implementation of countermeasures.

7. System Building & Backup Coverage

Participate in PMC supply chain system and process construction, and take charge of the development and implementation of related Work Instructions (WI) and Process Instructions (PI). Serve as the backup for the Material Planner role, master core material planning processes, and take over relevant material planning tasks as required.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Production Schedule Planner

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong data analysis skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Fluent in Slovak and English.
