The Compensation (Pay Equity) Analyst plays a critical role in shaping fair, competitive, and compliant compensation practices across the organization. This position combines deep analytical expertise with a consultative mindset to support business leaders in attracting, retaining, and rewarding talent equitably. You will work at the intersection of data, policy, and strategy, ensuring compensation programs align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and pay transparency standards. The role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise‑wide decisions while driving continuous improvement through data, technology, and automation.
What will you do:
- Lead the modeling, analysis, and administration of company‑wide compensation programs, ensuring strong governance, scalability, and alignment with business strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive compensation analyses to assess market competitiveness, internal equity, and program effectiveness; identify trends and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
- Develop and maintain pay frameworks, compensation guidelines, and job architectures that support sustainable growth, workforce planning, and talent retention.
- Perform market pricing and job evaluations using industry benchmarks and salary surveys to ensure consistent leveling and standardized roles.
- Support the design, interpretation, and communication of compensation policies to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance across the organization.
- Analyze pay equity across protected categories, identify potential gaps, assess root causes, and recommend corrective actions to promote fair and equitable pay practices.
- Ensure compliance with pay transparency and equal pay regulations through regular audits, accurate reporting, and close partnership with Legal and HR stakeholders.
- Maintain strong compensation data governance and drive AI‑enabled process improvements to enhance data integrity, efficiency, transparency, and employee experience.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive compensation experience.
- Strong knowledge of compensation design, pay governance, regulatory compliance, and market survey methodologies.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear business recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end compensation initiatives and deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS/compensation systems; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled analytics and automation tools to enhance reporting, modeling, and overall compensation program effectiveness.
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
