Material Planner

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

As the core role of supply-side planning, the Material Planner is responsible for material requirement calculation, inventory control, supplier collaboration and material master data management based on the approved MPS. This role coordinates with the domestic overseas interface to ensure on-time material supply for production, optimize inventory levels and mitigate supply risks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Execution

Run MRP based on the approved MPS to generate purchase requisitions for raw materials and components; adjust procurement plans according to on-hand and in-transit inventory to ensure continuous and stable material supply for production.

2. Delivery Tracking & Inventory Control

Track the full procurement delivery progress of raw materials and components; monitor inventory level, safety stock and material aging status; control obsolete material risks, and drive inventory structure optimization and turnover efficiency improvement.

3. Supplier Planning Collaboration

Release rolling forecast and delivery schedule to suppliers via SAP MM Scheduling Agreement; confirm supplier capacity and delivery commitment, and coordinate supply exceptions and deviations.

4. Domestic & Overseas Interface Coordination

Conduct daily business communication and information exchange with the Overseas SC Coordinator at domestic headquarters; synchronize key information including material demand, delivery progress, supply exceptions and master data changes to ensure real-time alignment between overseas and domestic operations.

5. Material Master Data & Change Management

Take charge of creation, update and validation of SAP data including material master, purchasing info record, source list and scheduling agreement, to ensure data accuracy and system compliance. Support the implementation of engineering changes (ECN/ECR), control the switching rhythm of old and new materials to avoid production supply interruption and excess inventory risks.

6. Customs & Logistics Coordination

Coordinate customs clearance and international transportation progress of imported materials, handle logistics and customs exceptions to ensure on-time arrival of imported materials.

7. Supply Risk Early Warning

Identify supply risks such as material shortage, delivery delay and quality abnormality; work with procurement, suppliers and relevant departments to develop countermeasures in advance and drive problem closure.

8. System Building & Backup Coverage

Participate in PMC supply chain system and process construction, and take charge of the development and implementation of related Work Instructions (WI) and Process Instructions (PI). Serve as the backup for the Master Planner role, master core master planning processes, and take over relevant master planning tasks as required.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Material Planner

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong data analysis skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Fluent in Slovak and English.
