Senior AI Architect (M/F)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Join our team as a Senior AI Architect (M/F), where you'll lead the integration of AI technologies into real-world business processes. You'll collaborate closely with the Team Leader and cross-functional teams to design and deliver AI solutions, while also driving training initiatives and ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

What you will do:

AI Solution Development:

• Design and build LLM-based AI applications for big accounts in banking, insurance, telco, energy and manufacturing sectors.

• Implement classical ML solutions (e.g., anomaly detection, signal analysis, fraud detection).

• Ensure solutions are modular, extensible, and production ready.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in AI, continuously exploring and integrating the next big thing into practical, scalable solutions.

 Architecture & Deployment:

• Design cloud-native architectures in Azure and AWS (GCP occasionally).

• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling.

• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security compliance.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams for automated deployment, monitoring, and scaling.

 Technical leadership:

• Drive the technical implementation of AI projects across their full lifecycle (PoC, MVP, production-grade systems).

• Act as the technical counterpart to the Head of AI on architecture and design decisions.

• Establish and enforce engineering standards, including clean code and design best practices.

• Mentor junior engineers and guide them in building robust, maintainable systems.

 Code Quality & Engineering Excellence:

• Write clean, structured, and object-oriented code following SOLID principles.

• Apply software engineering best practices: version control, peer reviews, code linting, testing, and CI/CD.

• Promote reusable components, clear abstractions, and maintainable architecture.

• Ensure strong test coverage (unit, integration, regression).

 Quality & Security:

• Integrate data governance and security best practices into AI solutions.

• Support compliance efforts and secure handling of sensitive data.

• Contribute to architecture documentation and audits.

 Collaboration:

• Work closely with product owners, project managers, and clients in agile environments.

• Translate business needs into technical architecture and implementation plans.

• Participate in technical pre-sales discussions when required.

Requirements:

What you will bring:

Experience:

• 5+ years in AI / ML engineering with a focus on delivering production-grade solutions.

• Proven experience leading or technically driving AI projects.

• Strong understanding of AI concepts and applications (e.g., machine learning, NLP, computer vision, LLM), with the ability to translate them into business solutions.

• Experience working in agile teams (Scrum).

Technical skills:

• Excellent Python skills, including OOP, design patterns, and modular architecture.

• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex.

• Hands-on experience with vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.

• Deployment experience in Azure or AWS (GCP is a plus).

• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of MLOps principles and tooling.

• Experience integrating with enterprise systems (APIs, identity providers).

• Familiarity with security and compliance in AI systems.

Organizational skills:

• Experience leading small AI teams and mentoring junior engineers

• Ability to structure and technically lead projects from PoC to production.

• Experience working in agile teams (Scrum).

Soft skills:

• Proactive, autonomous, and structured.

• Innovative mindset with a strong drive to experiment, learn, and bring new ideas into practice.

• Excellent communication in Slovak and/or Czech with a good command of English (written and spoken).

• Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with regulated industry environments (banking, insurance, energy, healthcare).

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
