Role overview

We are looking for an in-house junior accountant who will take care of day-to-day bookkeeping of our companies. The position is suitable for someone who wants to have a detailed insight into complex double-entry bookkeeping and the opportunity to actively participate in large-scale processes.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, knows how to look at things from a broader perspective, and is not afraid to take responsibility. We expect you to look critically at our current procedures and develop solutions to help us improve within the mentioned areas. You will own some responsibilities within our projects.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with our CFO, the finance team members, the legal department, external tax advisor, and auditors, and be responsible for correct accounting.
• Be responsible for the correct recording of accounting transactions (complex double-entry bookkeeping).
• Processing of a comprehensive reconciliation of accounts.
• Help us improve accounting processes.
• Cooperation in the preparation of financial statements, audit documents and supporting documents for the tax advisor.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• You can accurately record accounting transactions and support the team with bookkeeping tasks (basic experience with double-entry bookkeeping of at least 1 year), assist in preparing VAT returns, financial statements, and closing operations under supervision. It's not a problem for you to help with data collection and preparing reports for various institutions.
• You understand Slovak accounting principles, and you are fast at understanding accounting rules and regulations. Understanding Czech accounting principles is an advantage.
• You are proactive in finding possible problems, investigating them, and avoiding them before they occur.
• You are a problem solver with good analytical thinking, well-organized, and able to identify priorities.
• Knowledge of MS Navision (Dynamics 365) is an advantage.
