Sr. E-commerce Developer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are looking for a Senior E-commerce Developer with a strong familiarity developing and optimizing E-commerce SaaS solutions such as Shopify, Magento or SalesForce Commerce Cloud. This role requires someone with strong backend experience, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to support integrations, databases, and platform functionality from end-to-end. Additionally, this person will help develop and support other web properties and applications within the company tech stack. This person should be well versed with javascript front-end libraries such as React/Next or Vue/Nuxt and integration with REST APIs and/or GraphQL. We are looking for a candidate that has a robust portfolio and preferably has experience working on several projects or has agency experience. This position will require you to present and explain concepts, audit requests, answer questions, and effectively communicate with other business units and marketing teams. Additionally, you must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and can manage and support existing code bases created by other developers and external agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and customize business requirements on existing e-commerce SaaS solutions

- Manage optimization and custom builds on an e-commerce platform

- Own technical execution for features and functions across multiple platforms and frameworks

- Translate design comprehensives into web and mobile standards-compliant HTML/CSS/JS

- Monitor site performance, resolve bugs and ensure speed, stability and scalability

- Support third-party integrations and troubleshoot across layers of the stack

- Build mobile and touch-optimized websites and applications

- Present and explain concepts, answer questions, and communicate with various business stakeholders

- Ability to analyze business requirements and develop digital solutions that are scalable and sustainable.

- Integrating applications into headless CMS using REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

- Ability to understand and work with legacy code, and not just create from scratch.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

- 7-10+ years experience working as a Full Stack Developer or equivalent experience.

- Deep expertise in working with E-commmerce SaaS solutions framework (Liquid templating language a plus)

- A portfolio showcasing difficult and interesting projects that demonstrate strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS and vanilla JavaScript (not just jQuery)

- Experience using and integrating a Cloud based headless CMS like Contentful

- 3+ years experience with AWS, Netlify, Google Cloud, or another cloud service.

- 3-5+ years professional experience building JavaScript applications and services

- Experience working within a distributed team and project management in Github and Jira

- 3+ years experience with JavaScript systems like React/Next or Vue/Nuxt.

- Git or other version control systems.

- A strong sense of UI/UX design and layout.

- Familiarity with AWS and serverless architectures is preferred.

- Experience with versioning tools like GIT

- Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway, EC2 Instances a plus

- Experience using JAVA Springboot,, Mongo DB, Docker, MySQL and Node a plus.

- Experience in CPG, toys and children’s entertainment is a plus

- Experience and mentoring other developers is a plus
