For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3200 and EUR 5300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role and the applicant’s own profile including education/ qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of P&C reinsurance underwriting through data-driven innovation? We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic global team. In this role, you will drive digital transformation by analyzing processes, defining requirements, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance our underwriting capabilities.
As a trusted partner to underwriters, data and technology experts, and other key stakeholders, you will be at the forefront of Swiss Re’s journey to becoming a data-driven organization. You will have the opportunity to deliver impactful outcomes by leveraging technology, optimizing workflows, and supporting decision-making.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead Digital Transformation Initiatives: Identify opportunities to leverage technology and data to enhance end-to-end P&C reinsurance processes.
• Document and Analyze: Create comprehensive documentation for business requirements, system specifications, and process workflows.
• Optimize Underwriting Processes: Streamline workflows and enhance decision-making through data-driven analysis and process improvement.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, IT professionals, and other business units, to implement solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Facilitate Engagement: Conduct workshops and meetings to gather feedback, promote collaboration, and ensure a shared understanding of project objectives.
• Support Seamless Integration: Partner with IT teams to ensure effective system integration and support the organization’s digital ecosystem.
• Provide Training and Support: Train business users, facilitate knowledge transfer, and support incident and defect resolution to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.

You will join a highly motivated, global team that serves as a competent data and technology partner for Swiss Re’s underwriting and operations communities. Our team designs and implements innovative user journeys, data solutions, and software products, delivering a modern and seamless user experience. You will work alongside product owners, UX designers, technology architects, data scientists, and software engineers, all committed to driving simplicity, accountability, and results.

• Knowledge of P&C reinsurance underwriting processes and principles of digital transformation.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• Ability to identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose actionable solutions.
